Medium mushroom. Cap at maturity flattened and slightly umbilicate, short-striate at the margin, reddish-brown, with scattered small, dark scales. Gills attached, white, colored like the cap along the lower margin. Stalk slender, smooth, reddish-brown. Saprophytic.
 
 
Habitat:  Mostly solitary in deep conifer forests.
 
Scent: Mild

Spores: Pinkish

Season: Autumn
