Against the backdrop of the sounds of a baseball game being played at the stadium nearby, and the hustle and bustle of a plant sale, an early springtime visit to Fullerton is a busy time. Yet the activities do not interfere with the peace of a walk on a trail or a stop at an old rose arbor. Rather, the juxtaposition of the sounds and constant movements of humans and lands reserved  for the purpose of repose and study serve as an easily experienced reminder of the importance of places like the Fullerton Arboretum.
