Medium to large mushroom, broadly club- to horn-shaped. Cap at maturity flattened or shallowly depressed, with a wavy margin; surface dry, tan-colored. Gills and stalk absent; instead, spores are borne on blunt, forked, decurrent ridges, light purple, becoming brownish. Mycorrhizal.
