Small mushroom. Convex to plane cap, or with somewhat depressed center, dry, bright white or nearly translucent, pinkish or yellowish stains with age, becoming slightly radially wrinkled. Gills widely spaced with smaller ones, attached to slightly decurrent, white, staining pinkish with age. Smooth short stalk, equal or tapered, sometimes off-centered, white with pinkish to pinkish-gray base, with age developing fuzzy covering. Saprophytic.
Habitat: Groups on branches, berry canes, other small forms, hardwood and conifer forests.
Scent: Not distinctive or somewhat fragrant
