Tricholoma vaccinum — Tricholomataceae
Small to medium mushroom. Broadly convex or conical cap maturing to planar or with an umbo, dry, covered with reddish-brown to pale radial fibrils or scales, dark center, brownish becoming darker, margin inrolled when young. Gills attached, close, short-gills present, whitish, darkening with age, spotted. Stalk equal or thickened at either end, sometimes with reddish-brown scales or fibrils. Veil present, with fibrils or woolly, sometimes leaves remnants on cap margin but no ring. Mycorrhizal.
