Small to large mushroom. Convex to bell-shaped cap becoming nearly plane, with low umbo, dry, with roughened texture, purple-red fibrils on yellowish background, incurved ribbed margin. Gills attached, crowded, yellow, scalloped edges. Tall stalk, base slightly enlarged, yellowish, with reddish fibrils, staining yellow. Veil absent. Saprophytic.
